After two sold out workshops, join us for the next session in our introduction to photography workshop series, where we explore the power of natural light and how it can transform your images. Building on the foundations of exposure, camera modes, and composition, this hands-on workshop will guide you through the key principles of working with available light to create striking and atmospheric photographs.
Photographer David Kearley will lead this interactive session, covering essential techniques such as:
•Understanding the qualities of natural light – from golden hour warmth to soft, diffused shadows.
•How to use metering to achieve accurate and creative exposures.
•Controlling depth of field and perspective to enhance composition and storytelling.
Through practical exercises, you’ll experiment with different lighting conditions and learn how to adapt your camera settings to make the most of the environment around you. Whether you're capturing landscapes, portraits, or still life, this session will help you develop a keen eye for natural light and elevate your photography skills.
What to Bring:
• Camera (DSLR or mirrorless with control of manual settings)
• Enthusiasm and a willingness to experiment
Spaces are limited! Reserve your spot today and begin your photography journey with David Kearley.
